Apologies to Michael Wutz. I decided not to attend his artist talk at Volitant because I figured his lecture at UT tonight would be more enlightening. Well wouldn’t you know, that its back to school night. I can’t get out of it either. For some reason, I HAVE TO go and listen to PTA announcements and briefly say hello to teachers I will be seeing all year long.
Anyways, a couple of shows tonight, Texas Prize and Las Manitas Friday night and a robust gallery hopping Saturday night.
I had wanted to go to San Antonio for Unit B’s closing. But my car’s acting up. It’s a busy weekend down there, too.
I received the email last week, but haven’t had time to enter into the calendars. Here’s another event for Saturday:

I’ll update the calendars soon.
I’ll tell you ’bout what I sees.
Thanks for the Slugfest notice, I haven’t seen that one listed anywhere. This will be a very busy weekend for art stuff! Seems like we went through a dry spell, now I’m having to pick and choose which openings, lectures, talks, and brunches (brunches?) to go to. Can’t complain about that too much, though.
Did I see you at the Art Palace show the other night? I thought that was you but I’m terrible with names and faces…
Yeah, I saw you too. But my ‘Boutlings were testing my patience. I ended up leaving shortly after arriving in order to suplex two of them to bed and clothesline the third. After the ref (the Sandman) declared me winner, I returned to the Palace.
