I don’t know about you, but I think last night’s event went pretty well.
After reviewing the 45 submissions this year, the judges identified the TOP 10 (plus 1).
There was a 3 way tie for the 9th spot so I allowed for 11 to enter Round 2.
In Round 2 the judges talked about each of the TOP10 (plus 1) works. And left only 4 standing.
These TOP4 were taken into a room for
waterboarding “studio visits” as the audience watched outside.
As the judges deliberated on the winner of the solo show at grayDUCK Gallery, we had a special recognition by Honorary Judge, Chloe Yingst (winner of last year’s Eyes Got It!). Chloe selected Emma Hadzi Antich to be featured at 1319Rosewood for the remaining duration of EAST (Nov19-20). So come on out! Lakes Were Rivers & Chris Cody are also exhibiting work here.
Then the moment everyone was waiting for… Hollie Brown was crowned the winner!
