- Austin Green Art (AGA) is calling for submissions for unique, environmentally-themed centerpiece designs to be presented during the Hill Country Conservancy’s November 3rd event at the Frost Bank Tower called Hill Country Nights. Up to 15 designs will be selected. If selected, you will receive two tickets to the event, have the option to sell your design at the event, and become a member of the AGA artist network. Submit up to five sculptures (jpg) or centerpiece designs to randy@austingreenart.org
- Art City Austin Seeks Artists for 2008 Show
- Cantanker is offering a special artist advertising section in its upcoming full-sized fourth issue, due out for the East Austin Studio Tour this November. These ads are a great way to advertise your upcoming show, open studio event, or new website. They are offering two types of advertising especially for artists. The deadline for payment and advertising materials is OCTOBER 29, 2007. These ads are for ARTISTS ONLY, this offer does not extend to businesses (even if they are art related). If you are interested in color advertising, contact them.
Artist Marketplace Ad: This is a 2″ x 2″, black and white ad big enough to include an image of your latest work. Please submit artwork as TIFF, EPS, or press-ready PDF (300 dpi). Include or embed all fonts. Cost: $50
Artist Listing: This is an all-text classified listing at a maximum of 35 words. You can promote yourself, your website, offer a service, sell your old art supplies, or just talk. As long as it’s 35 words or less we’ll print it. See example below. Cost: $25
